National Unity In The Yanbian Area-a Study Based On National Theory Of The Communist Party Of China

National unity problem has been always one of the important problems for our community party to govern and manage this country. It has been also the hot issue and main point of all political relationship. Yanbian autonomous region is the biggest residential area of Korean ethnic minority group as well as the only one minority autonomous region of northeast in China.:For years, the government of Yanbian autonomous has always grasped the theme of "strive united and develop prospering together", advancing the work of national unity. Therefore, it formed a new situation:the economic development in the national region is improving rapidly; the national legal system construction is improved constantly; the national culture is prospering; the national relationship is always harmonious; the national functionary cadre can play their part to the full.This article tries to make a research about the work of national unity in the Korean autonomous region from the height of the development of national relations. First, it elaborated the main point of Marx, Engels and Lenins’ thought about national unity and discusses the national unity theory of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao. It lays the foundation of the systematic analysis and summarize of the experiences of the work of national unity in the Yanbian Korean autonomous region. Through the field trip of the work of national unity in Yanbian autonomous region, it analyzes the cause of the national unity in Yanbian autonomous region in history, culture and policy three aspects. Yanbian Korean autonomous was awarded three times by the State Council as "the national ethnic unity and progress model". This title has not come easily and not formed in a day. It has a profound historical origin and realistic foundation. The reason of contributing to this kind of national unity relationship, simply to say "two-way identity", i.e. the identity of the cross-border moved Korean nationality to China and the China’s Korean ethnic identity. After the Korean nationality came to the northeast of China, they made the firm foundation of national unity relations in the Yanbian area and established its important position in China with their effort made of sweat, blood and life during the progress of developing, defending and constructing the frontier of northeast of China. It also sums up the experiences of promoting the national unity work and analyzes deep and systematically the current situation and existing problem of national unity work. The strengthening and improving suggestions are put forward as well. Exploring new measures of strengthening the relationship of national unity in the Yanbian area and summarizing its advanced experiences and.spread it in other regions as well has a high practical worth. Spreading these experiences will promote the national unity work to a higher and wider range of improvement. But the experience of the national unity in Yanbian area is just a case and it has differences in its national history, customs and habits, regional location, level of economic development and cultural education. So there will be lots of differences on the way of spreading its experiences in other region. Therefore, only on the basis of "seeking common ground and reserve differences", respecting the history and culture to each other,"two-way identity" and eliminating differences to improve commonality psychologically can increase culture sharing, eliminate the diaphragm, agree with each other. Thereby it can form a good cultural foundation of the harmony and unity among the ethnic groups and the national relations will achieve a further consolidation and improvement.
