| Our country is a unified multi-ethnic country,and national unity is the lifeline of our people of all nationalities.It is the fundamental prerequisite and guarantee for maintaining national unity and common prosperity of all nationalities.After the reform and opening up,with the acceleration of urbanization in ethnic minority areas and the large-scale migration of ethnic minority population,urban ethnic work is facing a series of new situations and challenges.The state has always attached great importance to national work under the new situation.At the Ethnic Work Conference in 2014,it was emphasized that the focus of ethnic work should be on the community,that efforts should be made to build the social structure and community environment embedded among ethnic groups,and that the promotion of exchanges and exchanges among ethnic groups should be the key content of ethnic work in the new era.Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture is located at the border of China,Korea and Russia in the Northeast frontier.It is the largest Korean community and the only Korean Autonomous Prefecture in China.Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture has always been a model for the cause of national unity and progress in China,and is the only Autonomous Prefecture in the country that has won the honor of "national unity and progress model collective" for five consecutive times.With the deepening of reform and opening-up and the rapid development of economy and society,especially the large-scale cross-border movement of Korean population after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Korea,Yanbian’s ethnic relations have undergone a series of new changes,especially in the mode of urban ethnic residence and the mode of communication among ethnic members.How to continue to carry forward and develop the glorious tradition of national unity?How to solve a series of new problems and challenges faced by urban ethnic work in the new era and further promote the healthy development of urban ethnic relations?How to construct the inter-ethnic community in cities?This is an important issue for the governments at all levels in Yanbian Prefecture,and it is also the focus of Yanbian ethnic work in the new era.This paper takes Xinxing Street in Yanji City of Yanbian Prefecture as the research object,combines field investigation and literature research,and investigates the vertical development and horizontal connection of its ethnic intercalated community construction.To this end,firstly,the historical foundation and cultural origin of the formation of harmonious ethnic relations in Yanbian are investigated vertically;secondly,the ethnic relations in Yanbian after the reform and opening-up are analyzed and sorted out,especially the present situation,experience and problems of the ethnic intercalated community construction in Yanbian Prefecture from the perspectives of population structure,cultural structure,economic structure and political structure.In the future,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development path of the national intercalated community construction conforming to the characteristics of Yanbian.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background,purpose and significance,research methods and ideas,and research trends at home and abroad;the second part is to elaborate the historical origin of the formation of the pattern of ethnic interbedded communities in Yanbian Prefecture;the third part is based on the field survey of the new streets in Yanji City,from the population structure,cultural structure,economic structure,political structure and other dimensions.The fourth part is to summarize the experience of Yanbian’s intercalated community construction,to explore the new problems and challenges faced by the current intercalated community construction;the fifth part is to improve and further promote the specific countermeasures and suggestions of the intercalated community construction. |
