Since the birth of “The Art of War”2500years ago, it produces a great influenceon wars and military ideas. The military theories and thoughts of Sun Zi, which affectthe later militarists and ideologist, are abundant and developed during its succession.As a great self-confident militarist and a talent politician, Xin Qiji came upon thestage of Nan Song and wrote down “Mei Qin ten theories” with his knowledge ofmilitary ideas and military practices, to tend to anti the invasion of Jin after hissubmission. Throughout the text, we can see that “Mei Qin ten theories” is affected bythe wording of “The Art of War”, and it not only succeeds, but also makes innovationand development in military thoughts.Sun Zi born in Qi and Xin Qiji born in Lu, both of the men of Qi and Lu valuemilitary force. Wu resisted Chu and Yue, Nan Song resisted Liao, Jin and Tu Fan. Wetry to figure out the external factors which Sun Qiji were affected by Sun Zi, bycomparing their developmental environment. Secondly, by comparing the structures,content, key words and sentence patterns, we prove that “Mei Qin ten theories” isaffected by the wording of “The Art of War”. Thirdly, by comparing the analogoussentences of the two, we testify that “Mei Qin ten theories” is affected by the thoughtof “The Art of War”. Last but not least, by analyzing and integrating Xin Qiji’sstrategies of restoration, we testify that “Mei Qin ten theories” includes great militarythoughts and strategies, which combine theories with practice, by succeeding,innovating and developing “The Art of War”. In a word, the text wholly testifies themilitary talent and courage of Xin Qiji.
