Byanalyzing the deficiencies of the fixed-term of imprisonment system andcomparing the current legislation in our country with some other foreignlegislation, the imprisonment sentence should be perfected from thefollowing several aspects, moderates increases the maximum term offixed-term imprisonment for single crime and combined punishment forseveral crimes, reduces the punishment rate inside the charges, perfectsthe fixed-term imprisonment configuration between charges of thespecific provisions, improves the existing parole and commutation system, and it also should reform and explore in the execution of the new ways tomake up for the disadvantages of imprisonment.
