This study aims to expand on the limited amount of study presently availablefor e-service improvement of public sector in Cambodia. Specifically, the researchwill be discussed barriers that are being affected to success of public e-servicesystem in Cambodia recently. Also, the findings of this research will allowresolution e-service of public sector to be better understood about currentsituations e-service of public sector improvable and practice, and the developmentin Cambodia. It is starting with the type of research (exploratory studies anddescriptive research), research approach (qualitative research), and strategy (casestudy, survey and action research). Then data collection methods and sampleselection have been described, with the general strategy.The generally, the challenge to improve e-service in public sector there aremain there infrastructure, governance, and support. First, infrastructure meansinformation and communication technologies, along with legislation and financialresources, and ensure security&privacy. Second, management is linked to thesupply side, while infrastructure and human factors belong to both the supply anddemand sides. And finally, support there are corporation organization andpartnership to support, users of e-government comprise a number of groups,financial, getting funds requested problem in managing funds, no sharing data inagencies. Lacked of central funds, and human factors include competence andskills, training, and trust.To conclude, this research would help contribution to the future growth,development and significance of policy on e-service of public sector in Cambodiaas well as aware of the new challenges as seen through the recent day, to sharesome point’s public sector e-service development in Cambodia.
