Nowadays the intellectual property protection system ismainly aimed at traditional knowledge. Rare laws are used for intellectual propertyprotection of tacit knowledge.By using cross curricular method and summarizing, the author has consulted variedinformation and summarized the researches about intellectual property protection of tacitknowledge. First of all, the paper summarized the content of tacit knowledge propertyrights overall. And then it analyzed the reason why tacit knowledge intellectual propertyhas been ignored and the possibility and necessity of tacit knowledge intellectual propertyprotection for more attention. Finally, the paper explained the measures that used forintellectual property protection of traditional knowledge (or intangible cultural heritage)and discussed the intersectionality between tacit knowledge and trade secret. And it alsoproposed several suggestions for tacit knowledge intellectual property protection. Thepaper has three innovations: the first is studying the tacit knowledge from the perspectiveof intellectual property, and ask for agreement in intellectual property protection of tacitknowledge from public consciousness. The second, at present academia for the study oftacit knowledge intellectual property problems are less involved. Especially, about theprotective measures of tacit knowledge intellectual property. The author used forintellectual property protection of traditional knowledge and trade secret. And it alsoproposed some countermeasures for tacit knowledge intellectual property protection. Thethird, through the research on tacit knowledge intellectual property, breaking thelimitations of the current intellectual property protection and expand the scope of object ofintellectual property. However, the paper has no more effective persuasion since the lackof practical research of tacit knowledge intellectual property and the limitation of thewritten ability. And affected the perspicuity of the paper in tacit knowledge intellectualproperty protection.In conclusion, it has great practical significance for research on tacit knowledge intellectual property by analyzing its possibility, necessity and the protective measure. It isvery necessary to make sure the attribute of intellectual property by the law.
