In recent years, the government put the public service and innovation of social management on the important agenda and pay more attention to the development of social organizations .The function of society organizations attracted a lot scholars’ and public’s attention, and people requires it can provide more high-quality service. Many social organizations are facing the problems of lacking of human resources because of some external and internal factors, so lots of work needs to rely on volunteers. In this case, volunteer management of the social organization is directly related to the organization vitality and it has the fundamental significance. With the introduction of social work idea and method, social work in volunteer management of social organizations increasingly reflect its unique advantages as opposed to the traditional experience.This research mainly use qualitative research methods to study the application research of social work’s ideas, values and methods in the volunteer management of social organizations under Strengths Perspective and empowerment theory. The research shows that social work can be a good use in the volunteer management of social organizations, social work have an irreplaceable advantage, it improved the level of volunteer management and the volunteer service capabilities. But the application is relatively limited, there are two ways to expand the flexibility of the space about the ideas and methods. At the same time, there are many difficulties about the application, and these difficulties is largely derived from the lack of specific policies, social work professionals, the Participators’low degree of attention and the slow progress of Localization of Social Work. According to these questions,the author put forward to strengthen the design and implementation of specific policies, strengthen social work professionals, enhance the social organizations’ ability of integrating resources, heighten the degree of participation, and promote the localization development of social work and wish to promote social work play a better role in the volunteer management of social organizations.
