Culture is the lifeblood of a nation and the spiritual home of its people. Bringing about great development and enrichment of culture is of strategic importance to complete the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and achieve the great renewal of the Chinese nation. Ideological and political education, as a cultural undertaking spreading socialist core values, a social practice developing people’s good moral characters, a subject studying the formation and development of people’s ideology and morality to carry on ideological and political education, itself has a cultural attribute. As the essential attribute of ideological and political education, culture attribute is closely related to culture and can promote the development of cultural undertakings in our country through benign interaction. So an in-depth study of such attribute has great theoretical and practical significance in the development of ideological and political education and the development of socialist advanced culture with Chinese characteristics.This paper studies the culture attribute of ideological and political education scientifically and comprehensively, and focuses on its reflections, with grasping the essence and research significance of culture attribute in ideological and political education being the logical starting point, the theoretical basis being the logical intermediary, and the macro control and micro path being the logical destination. The article is divided into four parts:Chapter one:the grasping of the essence and research significance of ideological and political education’s culture attribute. This part will use multi-dimension of the subject as the entry point, significantly master its multiple essence and further stress its theoretical and practical significance. This starting chapter will set the tone for the whole paper.Chapter two:the argument analysis of ideological and political education’s culture attribute. This part will research on the origin of this attribute from theoretical exploration, historical retrospection and the analysis of the reality and in such ways we can find the theoretical fit between ideological and political education and its culture attribute, carding its history and understand the cultural state of ideological and political education. These three achievements will prove culture is an innate attribute of ideological and political education. Based on the essence grasping of chapter one, this chapter is a connecting link providing theoretical foundation for further study.Chapter three: the macroscopic grasp of the reflection of ideological and political education’s culture attribute. On the base of last two chapters, this chapter will further study the overall performance, the rules and the operating mechanism of such attribute’s reflection. Based on the theoretical research of last two parts, this chapter starts working on the further research of culture attribute’s reflection practically and provides guidance for the next chapter, playing an important connecting role.Chapter four:Microcosmic path of the reflection of ideological and political education’s culture attribute. Based on the macroscopic grasp of last part, this chapter will study the microcosmic practice path through theory research, professional personnel training, discipline construction and practical activities. Being the logical destination, this part carries out the practical discussion of how to reflect the culture attribute of ideological and political education and implements the study.
