Xinjiang is the largest provincial-level administrative regions in China, the special geographical location, multi-ethnic and multi-religious situation determine that it has an important strategic position in our country. There are many problems in Xinjiang, especially very few minority separatists use "nation" and "religion" in an attempt to split Xinjiang from the motherland. After the peaceful liberation of Xinjiang, Xinjiang ended the exploitation and oppression which exist thousands of years under the leadership of the Communist Party. With the implementation of the Party’s ethnic and religious policies, ethnic relations in Xinjiang has changed and gradually establish an equality, unity, mutual and harmony ethnic relations. Meanwhile there are still exist many factors which influencing the construction of harmonious ethnic relations in Xinjiang and becom increasingly prominent. For example, there is a big gap between Xinjiang internal region and other parts of our country, grassroots political power and party building are weak, ethnic conflict and loss are serious in culture, international "peaceful evolution" are intensified. Those are seriously hindered the development of harmonious ethnic relations in Xinjiang. In the new period, solve the ethnic conflicts and contradictions properly under the stimulus of the "China Dream" has a great significance in national unity and harmony, harmonious progress and accomplice development.The paper is under the guidance of the Marx’s national outlook. In the condition of the current Xinjiang ethnic relations, this paper tried to find a series of national work and the country’s ethnic policy in order to improve ethnic relations. In reviewing the history of the achievements and lessons learned, the paper analyzes various factors that impede the harmonious ethnic relations in Xinjiang Construction from the dimensions of Political, economic, cultural and international.
