Research On The Masses’ View Of Hu Jintao And Its Contemporary Value

The view that the people are the main body and the creator of history is the important concept of Marxist historical materialism, and the foundation ideology of a Marxist party. And the more than ninety years of the Communist Party of China’s history fully shows that the people-oriented principle of "for the people, by the people, from the people, within the people" is the fundamental reason for the Party’s standing achievements. In the decade from the 16 th Party Congress to the 18 th Party Congress, with Hu Jintao as the General Secretary, the CPC Central Committee attaches great importance to the mass work, inheriting and carrying forward the masses theory in a new era. Hu Jintao’s view of masses is the embodiment of a new era of Marxist masses view and its adaptation to the situation of China. It affords great theoretical as well as practical guiding significance to the modern development of China.Through summarization, comparative analysis, and a combination of historical facts with theories, this paper explores the formation and development of Hu Jintao’s view of masses, expounds its three stages, summarizes its the main contents and distinctive feature, and analyzes its contemporary value.
