The Applied Object Of The Reeducation Through Labor System Research

The Reeducation through Labor System which was founded in 1955 has finally come to an end in early 2013. And it is facing the fate of the reform with the more and more focus and controversy. With the development of the system about almost 60 years, the applied object is also in constant change.The first thing of the reform of the Reeducation through Labor System we need to do is making a clear choice of the management object. The objective existence of the object determines the nature and direction of reform. In this article, I named the applied object of the Reeducation through Labor System as the main line, combing the historical changes longitudinally, summed up the characteristics of its evolution objectively, analysing the legal principles behind the object selection. The paper reflects the time limitations and implied conflicts through the theoretical foundation of research and involves the protection of human rights and other issues of legal rights in conflicts. Finally, we can find the arrangement for the applied object of the Reeducation through Labor System through comparing with that of the similar system abroad and localizing the advantages of their system.As a participant and witness of the final stage of Reeducation through Labor System, in this paper, I combined the theoretical research and judicial practice, analyzing the different objects in order to provide some actionable recommendations for the reform of the system.
