Enlightenment Of The Swedish Social Democratic Party’s Core Values Construction

Core values represent the overall direction and the general characteristics of a country’s value system, which maintains the stability and unity of the whole value system. Core values are indicator lights of ones behavior. They like adhesives which can maintain a harmonious society. They are also a kind of spiritual power which can promote a nation’s development. Therefore, all the countries attach great importance to the construction of their core values. We should cultivate the socialist core values with activity and occupy the highlands in ideological fields. It’s meaningful for consolidate the ideological basis of the Chinese Communist and the whole county. It’s also have great significant for promoting the comprehensive development of the society and its people.The Swedish Social Democratic Party has hosted the Sweden’s politics for more than 70 years since it had been established. The party has built its core values gradually. These core values are Democracy, "Freedom, Equality and Solidarity". Judging from the formation of the core values, we can see that the Swedish Social Democratic Party’s core values accords to the nature of its production mode. The core values absorb the contents of traditional culture. They are also conforming to national development both in now and in the future. What’s more, they are absorbing the principle of Socialism to reinvent itself. In the process of building the core values, the Party tried to cultivate a clean government, to enhance the political legitimacy, to build a foundation of civic values acceptance by strengthening the construction of the system of law, by strengthening the team building, by promoting the inner-party democracy and the non-party democracy construction. The party tried to enhance the effectiveness of the core values’education by expanding the number that can receive education, by taking a more flexible approach to teach students, by using an opening teaching evaluation system. The most distinctive thing is to combine the values ---Democracy, "Freedom, Equality and Solidarity" with the construction of the country’s economic system, political system and the social welfare system. The Swedish Social Democratic Party wins the agreement of the people through constantly improve the Swedish model, protection the civil rights, safeguard and promote the interests of citizens. Through these three ways, the majority of the people are willing to accept the Swedish Social Democratic Party’s core values.The author believes that strengthen the research of the way that how the Swedish Social Democratic Party is necessary for us to integrate and refine the essential attribute of socialism core values. On the way of building the core values:the Swedish Social Democratic Party Strengthening the ethical construction of the CPC (Communist Party of China) and its government; increasing the flexibility of Moral Education both in methods of moral education its evaluation mechanism; promoting the social development and improving people’s interests; building the core values throughout the building of state’s modernization. Through these measures, the effect of building core values has greatly strengthened. It can be said that there are many unique features in core values’ building of Swedish Social Democratic Party. So that have an objectively and comprehensively study on this topic is able to provide a useful reference for China’s socialist core values.
