Peasant’s Right To Participate In Rural Land Expropriation

With the development of our urbanization, a large number of rural land has been collected for city construction. In this process, openness and democracy of the rural land expropriation procedure worth studying,mostly conflicts in the field of rural land expropriation is due to the insufficient communication and information asymmetry. To guarantee the rural land expropriation process goes smoothly, we must fully protect peasant’s’ right to know and participate in the first place. In the field of rural land expropriation in our country,legal system is not perfect and implementation is not enough. These problems are caused by not only institutional reasons such as lack of special legislation for land expropriation in China, but also practical reasons such as individual peasant cannot participate efficiently.So, the author suggested to study in depth and put forward feasible measures by perfecting the participation main body system of collective land expropriation, developing channels for peasants to participate in collective land expropriation, perfecting hearing system in the land expropriation in our country, perfecting the relief system and formulating a special legislation of the collective land expropriation.
