The Research On Vocational Value Of "Post 90s" Medical College Students

Vocational value refers the fundamental viewpoints and attitude as people consider some specialized occupation, based on the reflection of the personal outlook on the world, on life and on social values. Influenced by the society, culture, psychology and “Three Occupational Factors”(maintaining life, developing personality, and fulfilling social duties), different people have different values, therefore it has a profound effect on the vocational behavior. Nowadays, during the transitional period, some college students’ vocational value has changed a lot from the original idealism, pursuing their personal social values to the economic values and short-term benefits, mainly due to the following factors: the conflict between the culture based on maintaining free competition and social productive efficiency and the traditional values; the present high-speed living rhythm; the popular impulsive utilitarianism thought, which puzzled the changeable college students in their immature physiology and psychology period. Due to the professional trait for medical workers(treating the sickness and saving the patients; helping and saving the dead and the insured), medical education is a noble cause. Consequently, it requires the professionals strongly uphold the vocational ethics and attitude, and cultivate their correct vocational value, at the same time it plays a positive role in improving the high medical education.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part introduces the research background, the present study situation home and abroad, and the study ideas, means and framework.The second part is literature review, which introduces the concept of the vocational value.The third part is about the analysis of experimental results based on the questionnaires of 931 students from Chinese Medical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Dalian Medical University and Liao Ning Medical University. The fourth part is to analyze the vocational trait of the “Post 90s” medical college students and find their vocational value changes: multiple, complicated, fluctuated, blind obeyed, and so on. The fifth part is to put forward the corresponding countermeasures from the four aspects(social environment, school education, vocational orientation and family education) according to the current existing problems.The sixth part is the summary. It concludes the main points and at the same time puts forward the direction of the future research of this subject.
