The Crisis Analysis Of The Relationship Between State And Society In Brezhnev Period

In the history of the Soviet union,Brezhnev period is known as its stability and prosperity, but this period is also one full of stagnation and crisis and the turning point of boom-bust.From the viewpoint of relationship between state and society,the contradictions between them was raising,and this contradictions had a specific performances in such aspects as politics, economy, culture, society. So we can make a conclusion that there was a potential tendency of separation between the state and society in this period.While the separation presented not so fierce that it did not arouse the leaderships’s attention at that time,Iet aside taking corresponding measures to change. Afterwards, this contradictions became more and more sharp,so that a series of reforms had to be taken to change the status when it arrived at the Gorbachev period.Due to the the deviation of reform thinking, which cause the collapse of the Soviet union and the fallen of socialist banner at finally.It is obvious that the disintegration of the Soviet union had been buried under the great hidden dangers at Brezhnev period.So,we can say the Brezhnev period should take certain historical responsibility for the collapse of the Soviet union.The separation between state and society during the period not only had a great influences on the Soviet Union’s history and the reality of Russia,but also had a significant effects on the theory and the construction of socialism.This paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part is a introduction. First of all, I want to discuss the origin of studies and the significances of the topic, and then propose the main problems should to solve, and analyze the theoretical and practical significance about the topic.Secondly,I will make a comprehensive conclusion about the current situation both at domestic and overseas on the research, and summarize the different theoretical perspectives and opinions in this thesis both in domestic and international.Finally, I will expound train of thought about my article, and discusses the innovation and insufficiency of this article. The second part, I will present the crisis and its performances emerged in society in Brezhnev period, and then mainly analyzes the separations between the state and society from kinds of aspects.In the theoretical perspective of the relationship between state and society, to analyze this kind of separation from the political, economic, cultural and social fields.The third part, I will make a concrete analysis about the three reasons of separation between the state and the society in Brezhnev period:the most important one is the highly concentrated and increasingly rigid political and economic system; the second is the contradiction between the national one target and social multiple targets;the third is people’s distrust in the country caused by the huge gap between the promise of the state and the actual implementation.The fourth part,I will make a reflection about the separation between state and society in the Brezhnev period, and mainly,make analyzes its great influence on the Soviet union’s history and reality,make a reflection about the socialist model of the Soviet union,and its significant effects on the theory and the construction of socialism.
