Researches On The Current Development Situation Of Our Country’s Trade Associations And Suggestions To It

With the further development of China’s socialist market economy, trade association has flourished and developed gradually around the country. Its affect has become more and more manifest in economic society. Trade association is a social organization of economy and mutual benefit that relevant enterprises built for self-development under market economy condition. Before reforming and opening up to the outside world, it is planned economy system that our country has followed for a long time. The government administration has arranged every aspects of trade management and then the function of trade association has been replaced by the government naturally. The relation of subordination in straight is more important and tight than the relation of interaction between trades. After reforming and opening up to the outside world, socialist market economy has established gradually, enterprises have more decision-making power and a larger development space. Trades in a certain area need more cooperation and coordination with the deepening of market economy. Therefore, trade association appeared once again full of vigor and vitality. As the market intermediate and trade self-regulatory organization, trade association not only helps to strengthen the market allocation of resources, but also promotes the effective integration of regional economies. Promoting the overall development of trades and regional economy, the function of trade association is undoubted. However, our country is now during a special transition period where the social economy has been influenced by different senses, benefits and the shock of new and old system in the society and economy of shunt period. These could have negative effects on the development process of trade association, thus to hinder the healthy development of our country’s trade associations. Current development of trade association can’t meet the needs of socioeconomic development. This thesis analyses the development of trade associations in our country at the current stage from the perspective of theory and practice. This thesis adopts the medical instrument trade association in Jiangxi province as a research subject, mainly studies what the role of trade association is and how it works in the process of improving socialist market economic system, fully played an important role in constructing socialist market economy and creating an harmonies socialist society.The thesis is divided into five parts. The former two parts are mainly the introduction as well as the theory of trade association. The content of these two parts mainly conclude the relevant conception, type and function of trade associations. Meanwhile using club theory, interest group,transaction cost, contractual relation and the theory of public choice to clarify that trade associations can make the transaction cost the lowest and solve the problem of government failure. The third part of the thesis is to analyze the current development situation and problems of our country’s trade associations. This thesis adopts the medical instrument trade association in Jiangxi province as a research subject, studies the degree of trade associations’ development and problems exist in the development process. The fourth part of the thesis is to introduce the development situation of foreign trade associations including America, German, Japan and some other developed countries. Outlining the’ trade associations’ situation of developed countries in organization, type, management and function. Through comparing with our country’s trade associations, the thesis points out what our country’s trade association should learn and use for reference in development. The fifth part of the thesis is to give some suggestions to the reform and development of our country’s trade associations,combin the medical instrument trade association in Jiangxi province, thus to lead-in the suggestions that give to all trade associations’ development in our country.Through the above five parts and understanding of some relevant materials, this thesis adopts the medical instrument trade association in Jiangxi province as a research subject to analyze the main problems that exist in current situation of trade associations and why they appeared. According to the actual conditions of our country as well as using the successful experience of foreign country’s trade associations for reference, this thesis puts forward to some opinions about promoting our country’s trade associations’ development. The thesis believes that the problems of our country’s trade associations are not unilateral or caused in one or two days. Therefore, the reform of trade associations is also not unilateral which can’t be done at one kick. The reform must involve two levels which are macroscopic view and microcosmic view. The thesis puts forward to some measures and suggestions to the reform and development of trade associations in terms of association legislation, system reform, association function, policies support and self-capacity building of trade associations, believing that it will be practical and referential to solve the problems of our country’s trade associations.
