After the Second World War, Germany and Japan as the Nazis during World War II defeatedcountry, are subject to a certain degree of punishment, but from the current social situation, with theGerman government led by the German national thoroughly war guilt, publicly admit mistakesand initiative to neighbouring countries, to people around the world to apologize, bear the responsibility,especially the young generation in the sincere attitude foster correct world outlook, outlook on life andvalues, European integration. On the contrary, to the Japanese government headed bythe Japanese challenge to signa to the Asian people again and again a "defeat notguilty" attitude, aggressive Asian people endurance, the young generation is due tohistorical education tamper orin complete and to have a superficial knowledge of the history of WorldWar ii. Two such diametrically opposed attitude based on the analysis of the causes, continuously circleson the reasons, and will focus on two different historical background, culture, religious beliefand teaching methods etc..This article is in various academic point of view this as the basis, combined with thecurrent international situation, the German and Japanese historical background and thedifferent attitudes towards the history of World War II, found prominent reason they form such alarge gap between the two "WWII history education" is different, so as to affirm the importance of historyeducation; followed by the this history education as the breakthrough point, is also the innovative point ofthis article, from the historical education content, methods, the official behavior etc. comparativestudy, from the difference that the history education play different roles; then, further proves that in thedifferent history of World War II, education background, to the domestic, international relationship,especially the influence of the adolescent’s world outlook, outlook on life and values; finally, summarizethe historical education form, in a country’s development process indeed play an extremely importantrole. Because of this, to a large extent also determines a country’s young generation’s view ofhistory and national future destiny.
