The Research On The Theory Of World History In The "German Ideology" And Its Contemporary Value

On the basis of criticizing classical economics, Hegelianism and the theory of cosmopolitanism, Marx formed his own theory of world history. In Marx’s opinion, the history of the world refers to the history since the whole world has formed the integration which was interdependent and interacted step by step under driving of general communication between different nations and states. Transformation from national history to world history is an objective and inevitable historical process which material basis is productivity,development of division of labor and interaction. Marx’s theory of world history is an important part of the historical materialism which is a scientific theory direction in regard to research the issue of globalization nowadays and discuss the issue of society development and the human overall development. Although Chinese scholars began to research Marx’s theory of the world in a wide scope in the 1990 s, it does not affect guiding significance from theory to practice. Through the study of this article, the generation and development process of Marx’s theory of world history are cleared as well as make more people pay attention to the theory research about its contemporary value.With the direction of theory of historical materialism, an in-depth and comprehensive study was proceeded about Marx’s theory of world history which was in relation to its ideological source, formation locus and integral logic structure of theory under this article and explain its contemporary value. There are five parts in this paper: the first part is the introduction; the second part is the explanation of historical background and origin of thoughts of generation about Marx’s theory of world history; the third part mainly states development of Marx’s theory of world history before the "German Ideology" which mainly experienced stages in bud, generation and formation; the fourth part introduces the basic contents and characteristics of world history theory in "Germany Ideology"; the fifth part introduces the contemporary value of world history theory in "Germany Ideology" and analyses from five aspects including recognizing essence of globalization, disposing contradiction between development of nations and world history correctly, development direction of capitalism in the future, developing productivity vigorously and the relationship between integrity of world and characteristic of nation.
