According to the statistics of Chaoyang city public security bureau, in2010,2011and2010, the proportion of minor crime in chaoyang city accounted for12%—18%of the whole crime number. Generally speaking, the number may not seem like serious, but we should realize that minor crime under18years old is a serious social problem. Without effective prevention and control, minor crime will get worse and become harmful to society. Thus, in a few years, those minors will soon become social crime groups. In a word, preventing minor crime should become fundamental work for combating and preventing crime.Since I have been a policeman, I have engaged in investigation and treatment of all kinds of cases. According to my work, I think the chaoyang minor crime prevention should be analyzed among minor crime causes and influencing factors. The government should improve the public management. For the education of minors, family and school education are the key parts, not only to strengthen ideological and moral education, but also emphasis the legal education of minors, making minors to set up a good legal idea, correct thought on life and values. Community or village committees and other grass-roots organizations should play an important part in the education of minors, such as creating conditions for the growth of minors and enhancing the social control、crime prevention and education. We shall strive to create a harmonious and stable social environment.
