An Exploratory Research On The System Of Communities And Its Development In China

Community correction system changed the past simple punishment, retributionidea, begin to pay more attention to the education through the way to makecriminals to return to society, under the background of the execution socialization,the austerity of criminal law, the execution efficiency and other theories.Community correction system is human penalty idea another major change, hasbecome an important content in the reform and development of punishment systemsin each country of the world. This paper, on the basis of related theoretical studieson community correction system, the problems of community correction work inpractical operation, and then puts forward some suggestions.In detail, this paper is divided into five parts. Firstly, the article mainlydiscussed some basic issues, defined the concept of community correction,historical development as well as the theoretical basis of community correction.Then this paper described the nature, function, development of China’s communitycorrection system. Again, it in-depth analyzed the institutional framework ofcommunity correction system, such as its mission, objectives, basic principlesguiding spirit, objects. The fourth parts elaborated the problems of China’scommunity correction, for example, imperfect legislation, execution subject,deficiency the matching concept and so on. Finally, in order to solve practicalproblems, proposed recommendations to improve community correction system.
