Charitable donation has a long history in china. People with philanthropic-minded is always held in high estimation. Even now, philanthropy has become an important symbol of a country’s development in spiritual civilization. That is, non-profit organizations have preferably counterbalanced the inadequacy of the social system by their own advantages. It was estimated that, there exist a huge number of non-profit organizations in our country. Among them, the Red Cross society of China has wide participates in social public affairs. And the Red Cross society of China has become a typical representative of non-profit organizations with official background. However, it is indisputable that the development of the Red Cross Society of China has been in a weak position. There are omissions in management and supervision of the Red Cross Society of China. Besides, the Red Cross Society of China lacks of ability drops it in a predicament. In addition, there also exist omissions in the supervision system, organization structure and information disclosure system in the Red Cross Society of China. Therefore, solve the currently problem of the Red Cross in China for their sound development, is not only contribute to the realization of judicial justice, but also has important significance in the construction of harmonious society.A series of charity scandals triggered a social credit torture to the non-profit organizations. The woman’s flaunting of her wealth trigger a large-scale question against the public charity credit of the Red Cross Society of China. On the other hand, there are omissions in management and supervision of non-profit organizations in China. Subsequently, it’s urgent for the Red Cross to restore its credibility. Taking the "Guo Meimei incident" as a breakthrough point, this paper reveals the present problems of the Red Cross, and then puts forward the proposed solution of Red Cross’s construction by drawing lessons from the successful experience of the foreign non-profit organizations. The author launches the research around the Red Cross official nature and a series of problems. This paper integrates the government responsibility with the problem of the Red Cross society in China, in order to find the suitable methods and measures for the reform of the Red Cross in the future. Secondly, the government should strengthen the supervision of the Red Cross, and establish a unified supervision system. In addition, the professional is the basis for the efficient operation of the Red Cross. What’s more, during the selection of administrative staff, the Red Cross should guarantee the quantity in order to maintain the scale of the organization. Finally, a good social environment is a solid foundation for the long-term development of the Red Cross. The Red Cross should disclosure the use of charitable donation and project progress, in order to meet the public’s right. The reform of Red Cross is not only related to its future development, but also enhances the strain capacity. What’s more, the reform of the Red Cross will drive other non-profit organizations start facing the problem and making changes gradually, thereby promote the sustainable development of charitable donation in China.
