Analysis Of The Political Value Of Cellphone Technology

Cellphone technology not only brings great convenience to people in calls, but also becomes an indispensable part in people’s life. As a kind of media technology, the effects of cellphone technology brings to the human is hitherto unknown. It is almost on behalf of the development tendency of the modern information society. Therefore, it is significant to study the influence of the cellphone application in each field of the society.This paper is to explore cellphone technology as a new media technology. Firstly, it will discuss the relationship between cellphone technology and politics in the view of philosophy of technology and, introduce the unique characteristics of the cellphone technology, which as a political phenomenon. This research is based on the point of the consequences of technology application in politics. As cellphone technology carries political value, the value is duality. On one hand, the development of cellphone technology has changed the way of citizen’s political participation, and promoted the rebuiltion of the political power. It is significance in promoting the development of political justice, and advancing political democracy process. On the other hand, the cellphone technology also brings a series of trouble, such as disorder of political participation, political apathy. So, trying to find the way to solve the problem is urgency. At the last part of this article, we try to explain the possibility of overcoming the political trouble made by the cellphone technology. And we should consider technical modification and political control as the ways to solve the problem.
