Sino-Indian relation is one of the most important aspects of the new power relations for China. In the 21 st century, although Sino-Indian relation has gradual developed, but it still faced with many challenges and uncertainties. The Sino-Indian relation is not only related to the interests of China and India, but also related to the stability of the region.This article focuses on the analysis of the Sino-Indian relation in the 21 st century, on which basis, I attempt to prospect the future of Sino-Indian relation and put forward the path of the development of Sino-Indian relation. The article is departed for four parts. First of all,to introduce the current situation of Sino-Indian relations. In the 21 st century, Sino-Indian relation presents the tendency of temper, but has not comprehensive developed, lacking of political trust, economic cooperation motivation and contacting with security. This situation presents the imbalanced state of the relationship in different levels of the development, at the same time intertwined and more complex. Secondly, the influence factors of Sino-Indian relation. The influence factors of relationship between China and India include the unfavorable factors and advantageous factors, negative factors are the main aspects, mainly the Sino-Indian boundary and territorial issues of traditional factors, as well as the United States, Japan and other outside powers want to control China, making Sino-Indian relation more complicated. The favorable factors mainly include cultural exchanging since ancient times, as well,China and India economic cooperation has a huge space. Secondly,the challenges of the future Sino-Indian relations. On the one hand, they come from the traditional boundary and territorial issues, on the other hand, come from new challenges, mainly from the affection from the trilateral and multilateral relations. At the same time, the security dispute of China and India in the Indian Ocean is an important challenge in this period. Finally,the prospect of Sino-Indian relation. Sino-Indian relation’s present situation and influence factors, determine that the development of Sino-Indian relation is subjected to the joint efforts of the two countries. Under the full use of favorable conditions, win-win cooperation is the trend of Sino-Indian relations future development,Cooperation not only conforms to each other’s interests but also to regional interests. China and India needs to make full use of existing mechanisms and create new mechanisms to strengthen pragmatic cooperation, thus promote the further development of Sino-Indian relation.Globally, although Sino-Indian relation is not so respected as the relationship between China and the United States, but it is also an important part of regional power relations that cannot be missed. Discussing Sino-Indian relation actively is of great significance for China to develop regional strategy and develop relations with neighboring countries.
