Marxism And Feminist Studies

The Marxism is an openly and comprehensively theoretical system in which not only critically inherit the essence of human intelligence, but also provide ideological weapon and action guidance for us in developing era and changing world politics,these could well highlight the ever-lasting vitality of Marxism. Furthermore, the classical Marxists had some significant discussions about women that contribute to the theoretical interests’ growth point of social gender study in philosophy and social science.Feminism theory is an essential branch of Reflectivism theory, and it contains the main schools such as Liberal Feminism, Psychoanalytic Feminism, Marxist Feminism and Radical Feminism. Among these theoretical schools, the most related one with Marxism theory is Marxist Feminism and from which its development has once motivated the academic debate about whether Marxism could combine with Feminism. And Feminism has inevitably existed with theoretical limitations and realistic difficulties.In order to do comparative analysis on the theoretical discussions of Marxism and Feminism theories, this paper selects political power as an important concept.Marxism and Feminism have proposed profound understandings about the definition of political power and have critically reflected its actor, target and discourse. Then,Marxism and Feminism attempted to reconstruct political power from connotations,perceptions and targets. To combine with the cognitions of Marxism and Feminism,and particularly highlights the guiding role of the former theory while the latter seems issue-oriented, only in this way can we fully understand and analyze the power realities in world politics.The Marxist political power Feminism needs further development; its realistic meaning may goes like the broadening of the political power’s subjective value,remodeling of the leadership constitution, accelerating democracy in international relations, etc. The so-called Marxist political power Feminism has manifest as if the feminist movement and practice in world politics, these could well be worth the effort to enrich and develop Marxism theory, and may also be helpful to prompt the considerations of social gender and justice. Nevertheless, the corresponding prospect of feminist politics might still hard to be optimistic.
