Study On The Construction Of Harmonious Police And Populace Relation In New Era

So far, the process of market-oriented reform has made Chinese economy change a lot. However, while China’s economy is growing, public contradictions become more obvious, public relations get more intense, especially the relation between police and populace. In today’s China, relation between the police and the common people seems to come into a certain degree of group isolation, or an opposing tendency. This situation needs to be changed, which otherwise will become an important hidden trouble of public safety.I work in the public security work, and in the daily work face people’s demands directly. And I know more about the relationship and have better understanding of this problem. So, I try to use the knowledge of of public management theory in graduate student stage study and the existing research results and theoretical basis, to search a better way of dealing with the relationship between the police and the common people and put forward my own opinion in this area. At the same time, I also hope to use the thesis writing and research, to guide my daily work, and to handle the relationship, and serve the masses of the people better.
