After30years of reform and opening up, China’s economic and socialdevelopment has made unprecedented achievements, economic prosperity, progress ofscience and technology, people live in abandance. But behind this sort of highlyprosperous lies a crisis-the lack of social morality. The lack of social morality in Chinais mainly embodied in people’s serious mammonism, lack of social credit andgovernment ethics, academic fraud, corruption, mercenary, vulgar culture anduncivilized folk style, etc. Lacking of these moral phenomenon is nibbling thetraditional chinese virtues, affecting social harmony and stability, hindered therealization of social fairness and justice, to delay the goal of build a well-off society inan all-round way, more unconducive for us to achieve the great rejuvenation of china’sChinese dream.The author belivess that the cause of China’s social morality missing is various,including the lack of faith, lack of the society, family and school moral education andthe negative impact of reform and opening up, the media’s irresponsible and imperfectlegal system serves as the main reasons.Facing the present situation of the coexist of crisis and opportunities, we have tostrive to solve the problem of the missing social morals, reshape the traditional chinesevirtues. Therefore, we should strengthen moral education, advocating the belief to buildand improve the distribution system, adjusting the social wealth view, perfecting theconstruction of the rule of law, strengthening the social, family, school and publicity ofthe media’s moral education to reshape the fundamental of social morality in ourcountry, constantly promote China’s economic and social development.In this paper, the main body is divided into five parts, the first part introduces therelated research background, research purpose, research status, research methods andinnovation points, etc. The second part defines the relevant concepts, arranging therelated theories and to study China’s lack of social morality problem and to laid atheoretical foundation. The third part describes the detailed analysis of the performanceof China’s social morality and discusses the social ethics of our country in amount ofaspects, such as politics, economy and culture, which has exposed many problems.The fourth part is on the basis of summarizing the problem of lack of social moral statusquo, combined with the specific situation of the Chinese social environment andpeople’s thought condition, specific issue concrete analysis, finding out the root cause of our social morality. The fifth part is on the basis of research achievements in the formerchapters, puting forward the reshape the ideas and methods of social ethics in ourcountry, a respective introduction and probe into the in-depth study.
