Statutory inheritance system is the core system of inheritance, the heir in accordance with the scope and sequence of the law system inherited the estate of the decedent. Relevant statutory inheritance, no one can tamper with, is part of the mandatory norms.1985 "Law of Succession" requirement is legal successor of the current system, because of the provisions of the more distant age, suited existing inheritance disputes, need to be modified and improved. So far, the legal succession, there are many studies of foreign law in common law, civil law and so on, there are some studies statutory succession Macao and Taiwan, but the study of Korean law is a weakness of our neighbors. Therefore, the study of Korean legal inheritance system, but also has a certain significance.The first part of the paper is the introduction, the main narrative purpose research status of statutory inheritance system, the paper and the corresponding significance, scope, and to compare and reviewed based research methods.The second chapter of the paper, through the Korea ancient to modern narrative and analysis of the legal aspects of inheritance system evolution, understanding the legislative background Korea statutory succession system, to achieve a better understanding of the purpose of their system.The third chapter is to describe and analyze the Korean legal system inherited. Its content in accordance with statutory succession of theoretical system, including the legal heirs of the scope and sequence, the subject of statutory succession lose eligibility, subrogation inheritance, legal succession legacy distribution.Chapter IV of the paper, by analyzing the Korean legal system of inheritance, in less than a succession of legal regimes, learn some Korean legislation put forward constructive suggestions. Such recommendations include:expanding the scope of legal heir, adjusting the statutory order of succession; strictly regulate the disinherited of the subject; toexpand the scope of subrogation enjoyed; establish special refund system donated property.Fifth chapter is the conclusion. This paper summarizes the general content and opinions raised.
