Scale And Member Structure Of Communist Party Of China & Optimal Path

Scale of the Party represents its influence among the masses, and the member structure of the Party directly affects the overall quality determines the Party’s combat effectiveness and cohesion.In the new world situation conditions and the party situation,party members has a series of problems to be solved,which affect the party’s nature and purity. Meanwhile, Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC), CPC has been committed to strictly administering the party,and studies on party building received attention again.Therefore,this study has a matter of great value both in theory and practice.Around the core on optimizing scale & member structure of CPC, the paper is mainly divided into four parts.First of all, it introduces the theoretical foundation, including dialectical theory of the quality and quantity,the structural functionalism and related views of the proletarian party. Through the analysis of these theories, it seeks to clarify the importance of this study of scale and member structure. Secondly,it focuses on combing the evolution of scale and member structure of CPC. It provides historical basis of researching scale and member structure of CPC from the perspective of historical development. It concludes that when the scale and member structure coordinated with social background and historical mission,it can promote the realization of the party’s function.Then,it analyzes the scale and member structure’s current issue. It divides the issue into scale’s issue and structure’s issue, combing with structural functionalism perspective. On the one hand, large-scale and rapid growth reduce the advanced nature & representation of CPC. On the other hand, structural problems,such as unscientific distribution of CPC members in various industries, excessive growth of the student party members, uneven distribution of party organization and fewer minority party member cause dysfunction of party members.Finally,it presents the optimal path in order to solve the current outstanding problems of party members. Firstly, we need control the scale and improve quality by strict entry and standard procedures based on the dialectical relationship between the quality and quantity. Secondly,we need optimize the member structure, such as expanding the size of first-line party members, strengthening the development of the "two new" organization and increasing the development of minority member combined with structural functionalism. At last,we need innovate management modes for mobile party members and retired members and establish normal party exit mechanism.
