The Practice Research On Strengthening The National Unity Of Tibet In The New Period

The national unity is the life line for the people of all the nationalities, is the basic principles for dealing with the ethnic questions, at the same time, the policy of national unity is also the general policy for dealing with the relationship between nationalities. Therefore, the party central committee and the Tibet leaders at all levels in Tibet have always attached great importance to the national unity career.Tibet is a border province in China and it has a vast area. Thus, Tibet is in an important strategic position for keeping our country secure and keeping our country together, the maintenance of national unity in Tibet is an important mission for all the nationalities, as well as the basis and preconditions for the constant development. The relationship between the nations in Tibet is not only the key point of the national unity for Tibet, but also is the core of the national unity for China. Based on Marxism-Leninism and the ancient Chinese collective leadership’s research on the issue of national unity, the text explains their ideas on national unity. Then, according to their ideas and combining with the practice of national unity policy in Tibet, the text outlines the importance of strengthening national unity in Tibet in the new era. Finally, the text analyzes and summarizes the factors which affect the national unity of Tibet in the new era, and the countermeasures of those factors. This article is divided into five Parts: Part Ⅰ :The article outlined the concept of national unity, the background,meaning, research status and possible innovations. PartⅡ :The second part: Starting from the theories, the text explains those Marxist classical writers’ national unity theories and discusses how the Chinese several generations of collective leadership of the Communist Party inherited and developed their theories. The texts uses these theories as the theoretical basis for the national unity of Tibet, at the same time, these theories are also the theoretical rationale for the research in the text. Starting from the combination of theories and practice, the text explains the specific practice of the Tibet national unity policy and the importance for strengthening national unity of Tibet in the new era. Part Ⅲ :Combining the history with reality, the text analyzes and summarizes the factors which affect the national unity of Tibet in the new era from the politic, economic and cultural perspectives. PartⅥ :Aiming at the reasons which affect the national unity of Tibet in the new era, the text puts forward countermeasures.
