Today, Internet has rapidly spread to people’s life, it broke the traditional media’s restrictions on freedom of speech, given full play to the freedom of speech, it also become a digital platform to obtain information, exchange and communicate. We media is a new product of the Internet era, it broke the traditional media structure, making compilation and release of the information simple, clear and direct. By we media the public published his views and propositions on social events, understood the government’s policies and regulations and communicate with the government directly, which accelerated the speed of Internet information dissemination and communication, so it become vane of freedom of speech, the right to know, the right of supervision and culture information center. But comparing to the traditional media we media is short of reasonable and effective supervision mechanism, the release of information varies greatly, different value orientations exist in one society, which will lead media development to a trend of diversification. Many un-screening information and non rational behavior challenge the social credibility, violate the moral bottom line, even some unscrupulous people using we media communication advantage make malicious speculation, distort facts, deliberately enlarge and intensify contradictions, inciting the mood of the unknown, in an attempt to confuse the public, attract clicks and attention, influence the public on understanding of social events objectively, and the rapid spread of the information exacerbate the events twisted and ugly, infringe on national security, public safety, personal interests and other aspects.In this paper, the legal basis of we media development is elaborated comprehensively and the connotation of we media is summarized. With the rapid development of network technology and the popularization of computers, mobile phones and other products, we media is a new type media taking blog, microblog, BBS, WeChat as representative, takes inter-attention and interaction as characteristic. The study through the analysis of the domestic development situation of we media, sums up that in our country we media has large number of netizens, high utilization rate, the blind pursuit of hits, entertaining and so on. We media can be described as a double-edged sword, used in good is benefit to society, boost social progress, used improper may become an accomplice of the network violence, behind the characteristics mentioned above there are problems from we media development challenges to the integrity of the community, impact to moral bottom line, potential influence to the public. The root of these problems lies in the legal boundaries division between we media development and the national security, social security and personal interests. Not only that, we media supervision in our country is in the development stage, and the law itself lags, the specification of we media often backward relative to its development. The author suggests from legislation, administration and self-discipline maintaining we media rights fundamentally and regulating we media better to adapt to the current era, which solve self-problems existed in the development of we media to ensure its healthy development.
