Chinese ancient religious complex. Buddhism is the most representative religions in the Tang Dynasty. Religion law which is mentioned in this article mainly regard Buddhist religion law as the main subject of the study,Taoism law is not included. Tang Dynasty is a period when Buddhist religion got fast developed in China,the teachings of Buddhism is relatively complete. The rules in the religion law involve almost every aspect of the religious in his life,it not only constraints people’s daily life,but also violations. Secular law “Tang Lv Shu Yi” regulation aims to constraint all social members’ behavior,but the punishments for monks and nuns crime are also involved. At the same time,”Tang Liu Dian”have many records about the punishments for monks and nuns crime. At the same time,the first special religion law called “Dao Seng Ge”,these religion laws in Tang Dynasty has been put into good use in restricting the behavior of the religious people.Under the background of Tang Dynasty,making religions law and secular law which was about monks and nuns crime would be both influenced by Confucianism. In the mean while,they must also maintain the basic social ethics. So there must be some relations and something in common between religion law and secular law in Tang Dynasty. But religion law and secular law belong to two different legal systems,they both have their own characteristics,which make the religion law and secular law in Tang Dynasty have their own focus. Division of labor were also different. At the same time,religion law of kindness,lenient sentencing,don’t kill ideas and unique way of punishment influence of secular law. Part of the religion law source,part of the code of ethics from the secular law,so religion law is influenced by secular law. Through that religion law and secular law form the interactional relations.Therefore,this paper starts from the relationship between religion law and secular law in the concept and types, clarify their definition is different; Second,compare the similarity of the religion law and secular law,mainly from the crime,the punishment objective aspects of the same,same case on three aspects to analyze; Again,comparing the differences of religion law and secular law,through the analysis of the connotation of the "crime",the connotation of the specific charges,different ways of punishment,punishment purpose,case to analysis; Finally,at the end of the article summarizes the interactional relationship between religious and secular laws.
