The Study Of Xi Jinping’s United Front Thought

It nearly has been one hundred years since the United Front Thought of the Communist Party of China began to germinate. During the long and tortuous years, the United Front has been making a big effect on promoting our country’s revolution, construction and reform. At the same time, the United Front Thought of the Communist Party of China also has became much more perfect during the-long-time practicing and gradually came into being the theory system, which is with Chinese characteristics. Entering a new stage of social development, the United Front should have a great development because of those big changes, which are from our Party’s internal and external situation, the mission should be achieved and so on, so that it can promote the development of our Party and Country. Based on this understanding, the Party Central Committee, which is with Xi Jinping as the general secretary, has already put forward some new ideas about the nature of the United Front, the strategic position of the United Front, the object of the United Front, the main content of the United Front, the goal of carrying out the United Front and so on since the 18th National Congress of Communist Party of China. Thus all the new expressions about the United Front came into being another Chinese product of the United Front theory of Marxism.The study mainly contains two parts, which are the introduction and the body. The introduction briefly expounds the current academic researching results on this topic, the background and significant of the topic, the methods of researching, the innovations and defects of this research. Besides these, the concept of the United Front has also been clearly defined in the first part. The second part is the main content of the study, which can be divided into three parts. The first part mainly expounds the reasons of the formation of Xin Jinping’s United Front Thought, which contains the backgrounds and the theoretical sources. The second part is the most important which elaborates some basic theoretical questions and several ideas of how to get along well with the others to the Chinese Communist Party, such as the nature of the United Front, the national relationship, the relations between the Chinese Communist Party and the other Parties and so on. To have a comprehensive and deep understanding of this part is the key to know the United Front Thought of Xi Jinping well, and it is also necessary for us to carry out the United Front work in the new condition. The last part of the research combines the theory with practice, and puts its emphasis on the expounding of the characteristics of Xi Jinping’s United Front Thought, the contemporary value of this thought. Firstly, the characteristics are summarized into three points, which are the combination of the traditional methods and the new methods, the combination of principle and flexibility, the combination of the higher leadership and the great idea of United Front. While talking about the contemporary value, this study is mainly from two aspects, which are in theory and in practicing, so that Xi Jinping’s United Front Thought has been combined with real needing well.
