The Research Of Hui-han Ethnic Tensions Prevention And Control Mechanism

China is a unified multi-ethnic country, where the harmonious ethnic relations aff ect the social stability directly. At present, with the advance of China’s reform and op ening up and the urbanization process, the exchanges between ethnic groups have bec ome more frequent, which promote the mutual understanding between different ethnic groups, but on the other hand, also greatly increase the occurrence of ethnic conflicts.The statistical data of recent years show that the ethnic conflict problems are gradual ly increasing. The fields about ethnic relations, ethnic relations, ethnic conflict causes and solutions have become the research focus for Chinese scholars in recent years. W hen we look back to the Hui-Han contradictions in history, we can find that the"Zhongmu incident”, a typical case in 2004, is the most serious mass incident bet ween Hui and Han ethnic groups since the establishment of the new China due to its wide covers and large numbers of participants. This incident, for its wide covers, lar ge number of participants and cruel means, has resulted in the greater social impact t han any other Hui-Han conflicts in history, which not only caused great damage to th e economy, politics and culture in the area, but also had a serious impact on the ethn ic relations in our country. This paper studies the measures taken by governments at all levels for governing the Hui-Han ethnic relations in Nanren country and analyzes t he present situation of local ethnic conflicts, and finally discusses the prevention mech anism of local Hui-Han ethnic conflicts.This paper conducts a research on the prevention mechanism of Hui-Han ethnic c onflicts in four chapters respectively, including the introduction part that introduces the background and meaning of this paper, the related analysis of ethnic conflict preventi on mechanism, domestic and foreign research review, and research methods. The first chapter is a historical review of the distribution of Hui nationality in Henan province and the relationship between Hui and Han nationality. The second chapter analyzes th e current situation of Hui-Han ethnic contradictions and problems in Nanren country,and sums up the existing problems, features and development trend, and finally summ arizes some enlightenment on the establishment of prevention mechanisms. The third c hapter analyzes and studies the basic situation, influences and treatment measures of "Zhongmu Incident". The fourth chapter focuses on studying the establishment of preve ntion mechanisms of Hui-Han ethnic conflicts: first of all, the ethnic conflicts must be correctly understood through the combination of the theoretical research and typical c ases, and then, the establishment of prevention mechanisms of ethnic conflicts is sum marized and discussed from three stages of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. Th e last is the conclusion part, which summarizes this paper and makes a reflection on the defects in the study.
