Research Of Xi Jinping’s Anti-corruption Ideology Since The 18th National Congress

Nowadays, corruption in our nation is increasingly severe, and it is the primary issue confronted by the new leadership. Through the long-term practice of anti-corruption, we can find out that the Community Party of China historically attached to combat corruption and advocate a clean government. However, the path to anti-corruption is difficult and thorny. The recurrence and resistance of the corrupt requires our party to emphasis on anti-corruption and consistently make breakthrough in practice. Since the 18th National Congress of the Community Party of China, our party has faced the challenge of a new era. At the critical period of realizing the great renewal of the Chinese nation, it is extremely important to innovate and develop anti-corruption construction.General Secretary of the CPC Xi Jinping, following directions of the Marxism theory, concluded the experience and lessons of anti-corruption issue in other countries around the world. On the basis of the new social situation and the characteristics of anti-corruption issues in our own country, Xi made innovation and development in every aspect of government work from the perspective of promoting party-building. And he also promoted the anti-corruption issue to a new high level, making the anti-corruption construction enter into a new historical period. Generations of Chinese Community leaderships inherit and develop the anti-corruption ideology of Marx and Lenin and other ideologists, and collaborate with our social development practice, thus gradually formulate a set of anti-corruption system that is distinctive from the others. As the latest achievement referring to the anti-corruption system of Chinese Community Party, Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption ideology is creatively developed based on inheritance of many generations of leaderships. Studying on Xi’s anti-corruption ideology can not only complement and improve the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, reinforce the party’s progressiveness and purity, but also promote the scientific level of anti-corruption step by step within the Party. Therefore, it has significant practical meaning to direct present anti-corruption work smoothly and successfully.Xi’s anti-corruption ideology has resourceful content and characteristics as well as brand new meaning in this era. This thesis discussed the theoretical origin, background, content, characteristics and meanings concerning the formation of Xi’s anti-corruption ideology. The thesis consists of three parts as follows:The first part discusses the background and theoretical origin that formulate Xi’s anti-corruption ideology. Firstly, from the perspective of politics, economy and social development to analyze the practical background of Xi’s anti-corruption ideology. Secondly, from a historical perspective, to analyze the theoretical basis of Xi’s anti-corruption ideology.The second part, which is the key point of this study, focus on the content of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption ideology. The main content of his ideology will be discussed, from six perspectives referring to be strict in ruling the Party; be steadfast with faith; be severe with discipline; pay close attention to work styles; improve systems and combat corruption under the rule of law.The third part concluded the characteristics and the significant meaning of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption ideology at the time. Firstly, on the basis of the content of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption ideology, collaborating the strategic ideology of "four comprehensives", this thesis concludes and generalizes four characteristics of Xi’s ideology, which is also an innovative point in this thesis. Secondly, we will discuss from three aspects about the significant meaning of Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption ideology:to improve the legitimacy of Chinese Community Party’s law enforcement; to preserve social justice; and to develop strategic plan of "Four Comprehensives".
