Research On Legal Issues Of Customer Information Protection In Chinese Private Banking Business

With the accumulation of wealth in society since the Chinese opening and reforming policy, Chinese private banking business grows rapidly. As an emerging business, the Chinese private banking business stays at the initial stage of development, the law is imperfect. The protection of customers’ information is important in the law of private banking business. The article analyzes the theory of the protection of customers’ information in the Chinese private banking business, and studies the foreign law and the foreign institution, summarizes the problem in the protection of customers’ information in the Chinese private banking business, gives some proposal to solve the problem.The first part describes the basic theory of the protection of customers’ information in Chinese private banking business. At first, this part is about the study of definition, feature and legal relationship in the theory of the Chinese private banking business. Then this part determines the definition of customers’ information in the Chinese private banking business. At last, this part analyzes necessity and feasibility in the protection of customers’ information in the Chinese private banking business.The second part contrasts and analyzes the law system about the protection of customers’ information in private banking business in USA and EU. By the study of foreign law system, the part describes the enlightenment to improving Chinese law system about the protection of customers’ information in the private banking business.The third part analyzes the problem in the protection of customers’ information in the private banking business, including the lack of systematization and workability in the protection of customers’ information in the private banking business, and the dilemma.
