Tibetan Customary Law of Environmental Protection is an important part of the Environmental Protection Act. Which played an extremely important role in protecting the ecological environment in Tibet. Tibetan Customary Law of Environmental Protection not only provides an important guarantee for the Tibetan People’s survival, but also for the survival and development of modern Tibetan people provides basic system protection. There are indications that the direct effects of human activities and influences the natural environment. While economic development is conducive to the improvement of people’s living standards, but to destroy the natural environment at the expense of economic growth is not what we expect development model. Therefore, how to safeguard the natural environment against damage in the development of modern economy- post-modern society need to solve the problem. So for Tibet Tibetan environmental protection customary law has important significance.Based on the data of some sort, intended for environmental protection by the back of factors, may find a solution to ecological damage countermeasure problem. Through in-depth research to understand the role of environmental protection in Tibet Tibetan customary law mechanisms and principles to form the structure of the system has broad applicability for the protection of the ecological environment in Tibet, improve environmental protection in Tibet related systems, and promote harmony in Tibet may make some contribution to development.In this paper, the document reading method, social investigation and comparative analysis method are combined depth Nyingchi, Shigatse and other government agencies and temples environmental protection practical effect research.
