In recent years, with the rapid development of outer space, it has made more and more countries to seek international cooperation in the field of scientific research and exploration in outer space. After entering twenty-first Century, China is actively developing international space cooperation, not only strongly support the United Nations to carry out the peaceful uses of outer space and bilateral international cooperation, but also pay attention to bilateral cooperation with other developing countries, regional cooperation in the Asia Pacific region has achieved remarkable achievements.However, with the gradual increase of space technology and the higher level of cooperation mechanism, the lack of space cooperation model has become increasingly prominent. International cooperation with the developed countries cannot be carried out, has become the main factor to restrict the space cooperation in the Asia Pacific region.This paper summarizes the existing mechanism of space cooperation in China, analyzes the existing legal norms and basic legal documents of various kinds of cooperation mechanism, and makes a comparison of the development patterns of various cooperation mechanisms in practice. The improvement of China’s space cooperation model is conducive to the expansion and development of space cooperation, but also will play a positive role in the practice of multilateral cooperation between countries.In addition, this paper attempts to make a comparative study of the Chinese space cooperation model and the space capabilities developed countries, combined with the current international legal norms and space cooperation legal documents, and ultimately to further improve China’s cooperation in space, but also for the follow-up of more in-depth and systematic research.
