This paper focuses on the obligation of international cooperation in outer space law, including its sources, development and regulatory recommendations. The slow development of outer space law as a branch of international law has led to the lack of a complete outer space code for the increasingly rich outer space activities.Outer space activities exist between national entities or international organizations.Outer space law mainly takes the form of international conventions and treaties. The "five treaties",as they are known to people, are the product of mankind's exploration of outer space in the 20th century, and also the main source of the author's research on the international cooperation obligations reflected in international law.Clarifying the obligations of the various actors in outer space activities is an important step towards the realization of the rule of law in outer space. At a time when international cooperation has gradually become an indispensable mode of conduct in outer space activities, the adjustment of international law has effectively guided and guaranteed the conduct among the various subjects. The author further classifies the international cooperation obligations in the existing outer space laws, proposes the feasibility and necessity of concretizing the international cooperation obligations, and makes some legislative suggestions.
