At present, the main types of farmers’ beliefs in Northern Shaanxi include Socialist faith, religious belief, superstition belief, cult belief, ethical and moral belief. At present, the main characteristics of farmers’ belief in Northern Shaanxi are the weakness of the belief base, the utilitarian nature of the faith, the blindness of the belief choice, the multi degeneration of the object of belief and the plastic of the main body of the faith. The main problems existing in the current area of North Shaanxi farmers beliefs including socialist belief was firm enough problems, the traditional ethic and moral belief somewhat indifferent, religious complex, feudal and superstitious beliefs to disrupt the audio-visual, faith cult dregs.At present, the cause of the problem of farmers’ belief in the Northern Shaanxi Province, the change of the Soviet Union and the socialist movement is at a low ebb. Second is the rapid development of economic society and evolution, mainly in the region, the expansion of urban and rural social development and the rapid differentiation of society, the negative effects of reform and opening up and the market economy. Third is the influence of cultural environment on Farmers’ belief, which is mainly rooted in the influence of feudal traditional thought, the lack of rural social and cultural life, the ideological and political education is not in place. Fouth is the effect of peasants of their faith, including the spirit world of farmers relatively monotonous and poor, farmers qualities and cultural level is generally low,on the understanding of the beliefs of the fuzzy and faith will fragil.There are some main countermeasures to solve the problems of farmers belief in Northern Shaanxi.The first is to strengthen the rural socialist education and grassroots party building work in northern shaanxi. The second is actively creating and optimizing the economic and social environment of Northern Shaanxi farmers’ survival and development, including vigorously develop the rural economy in Northern Shaanxi, optimizing the environment of the rural economy, strengthen social construction and management of Northern Shaanxi, improving the social security system in rural areas.
