In recent years, the economic growth of Yangjiang City where located in western Canton Province, make an amazing report. In 2014, the GDP per capita of Yangjiang City reached 46938 RMB, which exceeds the national average and takes the lead in the other developing parts of Canton. The total GDP of Yangjiang achieves 116.855 billion RMB, which increased by 10.5%, and it is the third highest growth in the province. The high-speed economic growth indicates that the local people’s living standard is improving. At the same time, with the rising popularity of Internet, the Internet is playing a more and more important role in Yangjiang people’s political, economic, and social life.In order to make people more convenient, more effective and lower cost to express their demands and realize the political participation, safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, the Yangjiang municipal government has built Politics-in-network platform, and run in August 2011 officially. It realized that the government departments and the masses communicated directly, reciprocity, and high-efficient, and closed the relationship between the government and the people. At the same time, It promoted the Network Politics of Yangjiang normalization and institutionalization.This paper captures how Yangjiang carries out the local network politics through the understanding of the mail processing, classification and statistics;the issuing of government micro-blog;the network politics assessment of municipal units in recently years, for further analysis and summary the situation, the problems and the main factors of Yangjiang local network politics from the perspective of government management, and put forward the methods and strategies for promoting the development of the local network politics.
