China is a country with enormous population, where the future of this country has everything to do with the individual development of which the main factor is education.The major concern of education is that of individual, thus the goal is to educate an individual to become with required qualities. For a long time, education has contributed tremendously to individual development, and the goal to achieve the comprehensive development of individual has been the key point of such researches in the circle of educational theories. Recently there have been a lot progresses in the development of the education values on the aspects of politics, economy and culture in China. Though the focus of the education values is more on individual nowadays, we should come to realize the fact that there are still flaws in the education values in China. Concepts and theories haven’t been efficiently practiced since the educational practices are in effect of a great deal of factors, yet the Marxist theory of the comprehensive development could contribute to the development of education values. In Marx’s view, the development of individual is in accordance with that of society, and to basically realize the development of individual is to combine productive labor with education which is the only way to achieve the comprehensive development of individual. Education should provide people with knowledge and theories which guides them into practices, make people fully aware of self and society to provide more efficient service to society through better self-development.With respect to the process of Marxist theory of the comprehensive development taking shape in education values, this paper addresses the issues in education values and the results of reasonable analysis of the causes from the aspects of decision making, relation between individual and society and the implement of quality education from the macro perspective of comprehensive development of individual:Firstly.Poor knowledge on theories;Secondly.Incomplete recognition of the relation of individual and society development;Thirdly.Strong reliance on conventional education concept.Only when setting up the education values as the fundamental method to the problem can the way of putting scientific education values to practice and the value of which be identified while basing on scientific theories. This paper address the solunsion of the Marxist theory of the comprehensive development to the establishment of scientific education values and make attempt to discover the fundamental relation between them and factors to their interactive influences using the data from the researches conducted by some of the scholars and experts worldwide on the Marxist theory of the comprehensive development and theories of education values as base. This paper also would make an introduction on Marxist theoryof the comprehensive development and individual development. Finally a conclusion on the issues and problems by linking the education values and theoretical conclusion and realistic verification on the specific group of human through enormous evidence from practices as well as applied researches, aiming to combine closely the education values and the comprehensive development of individual.Education is the tool to achieve the strategic goal of comprehensive development of individual, and Marxist theory of the comprehensive development of individual could satisfy the theoretical requirement of modern education values. Establishing the education values and concepts required is a guarantee for the comprehensive development of individual.
