China is a multi-nationality country since ancient. Most of the minorities living together with Han nationality and forms a spatial pattern of nationwide interweaving inhabitation of nationalities. Since the reform and opening policies put into effect with the development of industrialization, urbanization, informatization, marketization and internationalization, a large number of the minorities living in Western Region flow to the mid and big city in the Eastern Region. The region of nationalities in areas inhabited by many ethnic groups has an expansion tense, the population of dispersed and mixed nationality has growing in number, forms a new dispersed and mixed pattern.Uyghur is a major nationality of the minorities in our country. We have ten division headquarter since the Production and Construction Corps(XPCC) set up in Xinjiang Autonomous Region. The Uyghur nationality living in Nurbagh Village of Shihezi County in Shihezi City is a dispersed and mixed nationality which is living in a region of the Han nationality were the main group.This research is based on the theories of ethnology and anthropology, take the Nurbagh Village of Shihezi County in Shihezi City which the eight’s division of Poduction and Construction Corps as an example, see the Uyghur nationality living in Nurbagh County as the subject, study the cultural change of the Uyghur people in there.The thesis consists of five parts. Part One has introduced the general situation of the Shihezi City and Nurbagh County, and gives a general introduction to Shihezi City with a brief on Shihezi City and Nurbagh County’s natural environment, history and population. Part Two describes the material culture change of Nurbagh County. Part Three describes the spiritual cultuere change of Nurbagh County. Part four, the relationship of Uyghur and Han people in Nurbagh County has been discussed. While in the last part, mainly exploring the reasons of the cultural change of dispersed and mixed Uyghur people in Nurbagh County.
