The whole social structure and operation mode are in a great change. And folk sporting cultures from the agriculture society in the course of urbanization, meet an unprecedented crisis. Therefore, based on the process of our society change, it is very necessary to study on folk sports culture, especially to the villages of folk sports cultural change.This paper mainly by using the method of literature, case study, field investigation, section analysis and historical restoration of research methods, to dancing dragon activities of HuCun for empirical research, tries to find the rule of folk sports cultural change between urban and rural community.The main research results are as follows:(1)Before urbanization, HuCun Village dragon dance activities a kind of Sacrificial Rite with strong religious colour; religious organization is the authority of managing the HuCun Village dragon activities; dragon activities have the function of entertainment, education, psychological comfort, identity, economic and regulatory. Dragon activities in this period, regardless of the form or consequence, is preferable the meet the needs of the villagers’ production and living, and carry out very prosperously.(2) Compared to activity before urbanization, HuCun Village dragon activities during urbanization have changed in different degrees whether in the form, content and meaning. The Prominent feature of the activities at this time was that it changed with the times reflecting in simplifying the dragon dance ceremony, villagers’autonomous organization-the dragon managing the activity, emphasizing on the function of economic and identities.(3)From the case studies, urban village supplies the necessary field for the development HuCun Village dragon activities, and the Collective memory provides the realistic variability and historical continuity for the folk sports culture in the development of villages.(4) The case of HuCun Village states that folk sports activities to some extent, is a ritual with the characteristics of the ceremony. First of all, from a behavioral perspective, folk sports is an act following the mode and the perform. Therefore, we must vigorously develop the levels of autonomy folk sports organizations.(3)Under the trend of making a joint effort to build great culture power and realize modernization, It is an irreversible trend for folk sports culture to take the road of modernization, Therefore, folk sports culture should conform to modern social and cultural trends, and take the modern road.(4)Under the tread of urbanization and modernization, the fundamental way out of the folk sports should expand or increase their own cultural connotations, reconstruct the meaning of structure in social change to adapt to the changed or being changed cultural needs of the cultural subjectivity, then to meet the cultural needs of the community more better., therefore, Folk sports should be effective in changing the form, content and meaning, particularly transforming the meaning of structure, to meet the need of the social and cultural subjects, then to develop the folk sports culture healthily and prosperously.
