The increase of natural disasters, school crimes as well as various social dangers,and school education’s and society’s over-emphasizing individual’s success bothcontribute to the fact that the search of the meaning of life is neglected. Especially due tothe typical “412” family mode in our country nowadays, one family has one child, andthus the security of the child becomes the whole and most important thing in this family.Therefore, studies on school education from the perspective of security have become thehot issue of present society. It is also an advocate of the returning of life issue toeducation.School education in our country has been affected by exam-oriented educationwhich regards the cultivation of students’ cognition and scores as the only goal butneglect the education of their life security. The improper management leads to thehappening of school crimes from time to time. All these are alerting us that it is becomingincreasingly important to improve security education in school. Nowadays it is commonthat middle school students have many security problems like low life consciousness andsecurity consciousness. It is not only caused by the school, but also caused by manyfactors of the society and families. Life security education is a combined system oftheory and practice. The present life security education in school over-emphasizestheoretical teaching and neglects the cultivation of students’ ability of dealing withemergencies, which leads to their lack of necessary knowledge and skills when facing anemergency and adds to the possibility of dangers. This study attempts to make theoreticalanalysis of life security education and the problems in school security by starting fromlife security education of middle school students and middle school physical education,and reconsider the problems in life security education in school, and then further analyzelife values of physical education, emphasizing the concrete construction of life securityeducation in middle school physical education, and thus provide an appropriate platformfor the practice of life security education in middle school. This thesis is divided intothree parts:The first part mainly states relevant theories. It gives detailed explanation of the development of life security education at home and abroad and the concept of lifesecurity education. It also introduces relevant problems such as middle school students’life accidents and the nature of physical education.The second part is mainly about life security education in school. It mainly studiesthe practical condition of life security education in middle school, analyzes the mainreasons of the lack of life security education in middle school and then deeply analyzesthe significance of physical education from the perspective of life security education andits particular life security values.The third part mainly discusses the most ideal constructive mode of life securityeducation in middle school physical education by mentioning some concrete constructivemodes in aspects of constructive concept, principles, content and concrete methods. Itperfectly combines life security education and middle school PE teaching, and thusconstructs a bridge of practicing life security education in middle school and protectsstudents’ life security.The purpose of this study is to practice the long-term life security education inmiddle school and better protect students’ life security. Firstly, it improves the lifesecurity consciousness of middle school students, cultivate their ability to deal withemergencies, and ensure their health and overall development; secondly, it provides anew way of combining life security education and physical education, and promotes thedevelopment of life security education in middle school to make life security educationsystem more complete; lastly, through the concrete construction of life security, itpromotes the updating of middle school PE teachers’ concept and promotes the reform ofmiddle school physical education and life security education of middle school students,and improves the life quality of middle school students.
