In1916, a Christian university named Yenching was opened up in Beijing, andon the guide of its teaching mission “Freedom through Truth For Service”,whichabstracted from the Holy Bible instruction, Yenching university had been initiatedthe sociology department and make a proposal to dedicate in social work and societyinnovation through professional knowledge.
