No one is willing to learn when there is no fun. In primary school’sEnglish teaching, try to arouse students’ interest and motivation, arousethe students’ enthusiasm and their consciousness of participation isconsidered to be the first and the main task of teaching. Besides, it isalso the aim of the implementation of teachers’ teaching motivation. Wecan say as an important part of teachers’ professional development,teachers’ classroom teaching motivation can affect the success or failureto a great extent and become the key to improve English teaching qualityand effects teaching motivation, meanwhile, they could not completetheir teaching task and get a professional development eventually. So,aware of this situation, it is particularly important to put forward thecorresponding strategies to improve this situation on the basis ofproblem analysis.This research is mainly a survey study. And on the basis of thecore concept definition and the summarizing of relevant researches ofteaching motivation, the author choose92English teachers in primaryschool in Xi ’an and Baoji in Shaanxi province to be our research sample.In the research, we use tools such as questionnaires, interviews andclassroom observation scale in order to investigate the current situationof primary school in current English curriculum reform. However, thereare many teachers could not successfully stimulate students’ interest oflearning English through the implementation of primary school Englishteachers’ classroom teaching motivation. The dimensions of this researchare as follows: the primary school English teachers’ cognition,implementation (including strategies&methods), effect evaluation,approach of achieving and promotion. Based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the researchsample data, the author summarized the present situation of the primaryschool English teachers’ classroom teaching motivation of the researchsamples and found the main problems and obstacles in the process of theimplementation of using teaching motivation. Based on this, in order toimprove primary school English teachers’ classroom teaching motivation,the author put forward the following promotion strategies: The Englishteachers of Primary school should actively try their best to deepen andmake improvement of the perception of teaching motivation;Relevantteacher education training department should provide the correspondingtraining for teachers’ teaching motivation,especially on the specificoperational strategies and the implementation methods, and the trainingshould be continuous and persistent; The teachers should always focuson and try to use diversity means to ensure a effective evaluation of theirteaching motivation;Relevant teachers’ education system, the school,and the teacher should work together to promote the ability of teachers’teaching motivation.
