Classical Chinese is a very important part in junior middle school, our teachers andstudents all paid a lot of time and effort on the education of the classical Chinese. Butthe current situation is really despaired us, our teachers always focus on how to pass theexam, and most of students lack of power to learn the classical Chinese. That’s worse inthe countryside middle school. So, how to make the classical Chinese more effective inthe class is a very urgent issue for our teachers who are teaching in the countrysidejunior middle school.In this article, we are trying to research effective methods to the classical Chineseclass in countryside junior middle school by some teaching practice and effectiveeducation theory. First we will summarize the national and international effectiveteaching ideas, for offering a direction to improve the classical Chinese education in theclass, that’s including the development and connotations, features for the effectiveteaching ideas. We also acknowledge the current situation for classical Chinese incountryside junior middle school from questionnaire and ordinary observation: the badteaching conditions, the thought of students are not active enough, poor foundation ofclassical Chinese, lack of home education, students always too much depends onteachers, and our teaching theory is lagging behind. This article try to research effectiveways to teach classical Chinese texts in the situation which talked about above.As we are teaching in junior middle school for classical Chinese, we are focus on‘with books’ and ‘read some easy classical Chinese article’, we also focus on traditionof humanistic ideas and aesthetics, they are both very important for us. For realizing thetarget in countryside junior middle school, this article will offer four methods toimprove the class of classical Chinese: First, we need to define a reasonable coursecontent according to the current condition of our students and the teaching targets;Second, developing the ability to read classical Chinese for students; Third, focus on thehumanistic from classical Chinese article; Fourth, promoting the self-learning mode toour students. All those methods had got a very good reflection in the teaching practice.
