With the promulgation of the new high school English teaching standards and the implementation of the college entrance examination for English writing more and high request. English writing teaching method on experiment and trial has become a pressing matter of the moment. The aim of this paper is to present in English teaching more frontier and is also gained quite more attention process writing approach used in daily English Teaching in high school. The author did experiment and comparison, summed up a number of process writing approach in specific. To the greatest degree of produce process writing approach’s effectiveness, thereby effectively improving students’ English writing level. This article is mainly on the following issues research:1Is Process approach writing instruction on students’ English writing level effective?2What are the advantages and disadvantages of Process writing approach in English teaching practice?3What degree of students to accept in the process of teaching writing?This paper takes Jinzhou experimental middle school as the research object, the process writing approach for an empirical research. In the pretest and posttest were accompanied by the student interviews, in order to get the students at different stages of the process writing attitude and suggestion. From the three test and two interviews collected data can be seen, process writing approach in improving students’ English learning initiative, increase vocabulary, grammar accuracy than the traditional teaching method is better. At the same time, process writing approach to students’ language ability put forward higher requirements, in future promotion can have certain difficulty, but in general, process writing approach has advantages than shortcomings, has great value of popularization. This paper is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the introduction part. The second chapter is the related literature review. The third chapter is the research method, is a new process writing empirical research part. Fourth chapter is for the data analysis section. This chapter will be based on the test results and the experimental data were analyzed. In the last chapter, the fifth chapter, summarizes the findings of this study and discusses its enlightenment to English writing teaching, puts forward the limitations of this study, and then puts forward the direction of future research trends.
