In the middle of the last century, the relationship between population, environment and developmenthas attracted global attention. At present, all kinds of environmental issues have a threat to human livingenvironment. Therefore, we have to face up to environmental problems and actively respond immediately.In recent decades, the environmental education in our country has already got development and havebreakthrough in the education of the citizen environmental knowledge, improvement of citizens’environmental literacy and environmental ethics etc. However, environmental education problems cannotbe ignored. So we need to explore and study improvement the efficiency of environmental education.Novice teachers and expert teachers have different age, teaching experience and teaching skills, theirperformance in the process of environmental education is different. Through the comparison study of thenovice teachers and expert teachers, we can find their advantage. Novice teachers and expert teachers gethelp in the study. Geography curriculum has its advantage in the environmental education and it becomesthe main subjects of environmental education. Therefore, study of environmental education differencesbetween novice teachers and expert teachers is very necessary.The article use commonly scientific research method such as literature method, survey method andcomparative analysis method in the study of environmental education differences between novice teachersand expert teachers. First of all, the article summarizes the connotation of environmental education andrelated research work, through questionnaire survey and interviews survey. I investigate environmentalliteracy and environmental education of some middle school geography teachers in Henan province. Theresults show that Geography teachers have rich knowledge of the environment, having a strong awarenessof environmental issues and good environmental ethics. However, there are shortcoming about the environmental behavior of most teachers, Environmental education theory knowledge and The inner driveof environmental education. Based on the investigation, through the analysis of classroom observation, Isummed up the three differences aspects between the novice teachers and expert teachers: From the contentof environmental education, novice teachers and expert teachers are both paying more attention toenvironmental education. But expert teacher have obvious advantage in the cultivation of environmentalconsciousness and promotion. For the source of environmental cases, novice teachers often getenvironmental case from textbooks and cyber source. The expert teachers often get environmental casemore native and life characteristics. For the environmental case presentation, the novice teachers use moremeans of "reading--teaching ","description" and "show--problems--Interpretation". The expert teachersuse more means of “scene--problems" or teaching methods present environmental cases. For the Speakingperformance in the environmental education classroom, the expert teachers’ language is more scientific,rigorous and rational. While the novice teachers’ language is passionate, arousing the enthusiasm of thestudents listening more easily. Overall, expert teachers have better effect of spoken teaching.
