The study about the relationship between ethnic groups is one ofthe hot topic in recent anthropology research. In the process of interactionof different ethnic groups, it is easy to find the culture differences, thecultural difference is the primary factor to distinguish the ethnicdifferences, it is also an important manifestation of ethnic culturalcharacter. The Hui nationality is one of the Guangxi twelve localizednationalities, is an nationality believe in Islam. Then,this study isconcerned about that with the development of the main group eonomy,how diffrent Hui groups facing the reality of survival and development,how could they keep the core value of it’s culture,they how to select theirtraditional culture.This paper is under the relevant theories of ethnicrelationships,and use the classical participation observation menthod,combine the literature data and questionnaire survey, pedigree andcomparative analysis methods, compare three Hui villages in GuangxiGuilin region to made a comprehensive comparative study. Base on thefieldwork material analysis, writer thinks that in the process of groupinteraction that the Hui group live in the Jiu village choose to keep theircore value of the culture consciously,but the Hui groups in ShanWei andQian Jing village lose their culture consciousness, thus it appeared thephenomenon of cultural change. Obviously, in the process of themulti-ethnic interaction, keep the core value of the ethnic culture has adecisive effect on the ethnic boundary maintenance and the developmentof the ethnic traditional culture; at the same time, the non core contents ofthe ethnic culture actively or passively adapt to development with thesurrounding ethinc group and the times, is a vital force for thedevelopment of ethnic groups.
